La pandemia ha cambiado la forma en que nos involucramos con el ejercicio físico y continuará haciéndolo a medida que comencemos el viaje gradual hacia una nueva normalidad a medida que se abran nuestras dependencias del Colegio y las demás instalaciones deportivas y de ocio que existen.
Durante estos meses en casa, debido al confinamiento, muchas personas han visto el realizar ejercicio como una vía no solo para mantenerse en forma, sino también para tener buena salud mental.
Nuestra asignatura de Educación Física, como ustedes saben, es eminentemente práctica, lo que no significa que no podamos seguir realizándola, bajo condiciones distintas, de acuerdo a la contingencia que nos ha tocado vivir. De esta manera surge la iniciativa en nuestro Colegio de poner a disposición de nuestros alumnos la asignatura de Educación Física en la plataforma institucional, llevando esta asignatura a sus hogares.
La dinámica ha sido aplicada a través de presentaciones prácticas de nuestros profesores mediante sesiones de videos guiados, diferenciados de acuerdo al nivel de los cursos y programas curriculares correspondientes.
Si bien esta ha sido una nueva experiencia, tanto para alumnos y profesores, y por qué no mencionarlo también, para los padres, a quienes debemos destacar por su apoyo que ha sido fundamental para el buen desarrollo de las actividades. También es cierto que este proceso no ha estado exento de situaciones a veces complejas, producto de la inexperiencia de parte de todos, poniendo en marcha de un día a otro, una modalidad en la cual nadie estaba preparado.
Afortunadamente nuestro colegio contaba con las herramientas necesarias, las que nos han permitido llevar a nuestros alumnos el conocimiento y los contenidos de la asignatura de Educación Física logrando con ello, excelentes resultados que se reflejan en la aceptación, cumplimiento, satisfacción, que mediante la retroalimentación, nuestros propios alumnos nos hacen llegar enviándonos sus comentarios.
